These Luxury Bags Are NOT Classy

So which bags are not classy? What designer handbags should you not invest in if you want to come across as an elegant and sophisticated lady?

Balenciaga City Bag

This bag just kinda looks a bit biker chic. So for me, it has nothing to do with elegance. I do not necessarily think that it’s a horrible bag. But if you want to be an elegant lady, I don’t really think that this bag would go well with kind of that type of elegant vibe. This is more of a boho chic, rock-and-roll type of bag. But what really bothers me with this bag is that I personally do not see it as a classic.

Louis Vuitton Neverfull Bag

Will I ever never see this bag again? I hope so, because this bag is so overly done, overly used. Every plain Jane out there has this bag. This bag does not really scream sophistication. And to be quite honest, I do not see high society women wearing this bag.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Bags

They are also overly done, no matter which of the monograms you choose or which colour, it doesn’t matter. All of them are seen everywhere, too often on too many people, on too many basic people, on too many fake items. If you want to be a sophisticated lady, perhaps you could have the Louis Vuitton monogram toiletry bag or you can have the luggage, but do not go and buy yourself a Speedy, for example.

Prada Bags

I personally don’t think I would buy a Prada handbag. I have seen so many Prada bags and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Prada bag that I like. Prada puts two different logos on their bags, and the one that is bigger doesn’t look very refined. It almost looks like a Guess bag, or like a Coach bag. There are so many fake Saffiano bags out there, and the replica market has totally torn that bag into pieces.

Chloe Bags

Chloe can have quite some nice, cute bags, but they are just not very much aligned with elegance and sophistication. They are more boho chic, a bit more like romantic bags. If you have that particular style, then definitely wear a Chloe bag. But if you are somebody who wants to be more refined and classy, then I don’t think Chloe is going to do you a favor there.

Valentino Stud Bag

So whenever people start talking about Valentino, whether you like it or not, there are two teams. Those who hate the studs and those who actually don’t mind them. And I am a bit more towards I don’t like the studs, but actually there are some items with the studs that I still like and could definitely wear. But when it comes to the Valentino handbags, majority of them do have studs.

Burberry Bags

Burberry is trying to really make a comeback, especially when they started to rebrand themselves with their new logo. So they have this kind of Burberry print that they’re really pushing out, and we’re seeing it a lot on their handbags. I would definitely buy a beautiful trench coat from Burberry, but their handbags just look like they’re copying everything that’s already been made and it doesn’t look good. Their new logo has not established itself as high-end enough to be taken seriously, or to leave a statement.

No matter what people say, Chanel and Hermes are classics. They always stay in fashion, and they always make a woman look sophisticated, classy, elegant and refined, even though a lot of people own them these days.
