Anna Bey’s career before School of Affluence

What did Anna Bey do before School of Affluence?

Every elegant lady’s journey to better her life begins somewhere. Anna Bey’s career before School of Affluence was her learning curve for creating the robust, high-value platform she has today. Here’s how she got started…

We all know Anna Bey as the elegant founder of an online finishing school aimed at helping women become the best versions of themselves. We also know her as a thought leader and educator, pioneering ideas on elegant feminine empowerment and personal development. Today, she has a mass following on several platforms – namely YouTube. But what was her career before founding School of Affluence and creating the Anna Bey brand?

Becoming a Digital Marketer

Anna Bey’s career and professional background involves a combination of professional qualifications, working experience and lived experience. Anna has always had a love for marketing, specifically digital marketing. From a young age, she could recognise the importance of digitalising traditional marketing methods. She knew that the future of marketing was video and audio. Her first marketing job was one at an online gambling company. Anna did this job when she was living in Malta and it was her first taste of a career in marketing.

After dipping her toe in the world of marketing, Anna decided to explore further by taking a course. She was part of the first class to take the first digital marketing course that existed in Sweden. Combined with her working experience, this course equipped her with the marketing and business acumen to develop the comprehensive, all-inclusive courses, products and content she offers today. It allowed her to understand the needs of her audience and the tools needed to drive success across her platforms. After completing the course, Anna got another marketing job in an online gambling company that required her to move to London. This job definitely furthered her expertise, but Anna always knew that she one day wanted to become her own boss. That was her next move.

The JetsetBabe Era

While she was working, Anna set up her blog JetsetBabe. In this blog, she documented her elite experiences in high society in attempt to inspire her audience and educate them on elegance and self-improvement. Online content trends changed over time and Anna learned how to adapt, with the aid of her professional experience. She grew her JetsetBabe audience and launched a Facebook group as well as a YouTube channel.

Today, she offers several products under her online finishing school School of Affluence such as courses and an online private members’ club, The A-List. She also continues to offer free educational content on YouTube and her other social platforms. Her expertise in elegance and etiquette has been acquired through lived experience as well as through her learnings at the renowned Swiss finishing school Institut Villa Pierrefeu. She is also now a qualified image consultant.
